RE: Exteme Home Makeover

Todd, Doug, and Terry

You guys represent everything that is great about this hobby of ours. You never stand so tall as when you bend down to help someone.

best regards,

RE: Is this a scam?

It looks like my first impression was correct. Too bad. I hope no one actually sent their money in thinking that they were going to get $500.00 worth of mechandise for their $20.00 membership fee. ...

RE: Is this a scam?

Mr. Hayden,

Please read my original post and follow-up posts. It is not my intent to impugn the IMAA. However, it is increasingly clear that you have allied yourself with some dirty dealers. ...

RE: Is this a scam?

Gail - Thanks for the details. Your report and a few other data points that I related earlier in this thread are really starting to make me think that the IMAA has allied themselves with some shady...

RE: Is this a scam?

This is starting to look more and more fishy all the time. I'm going to wait until Joss Stick hears back from the IMAA president, but at this point it's starting to look a lot like a shell game.

RE: Is this a scam?

Dr. Wogz -

You make some good points and I especially agree with you about the misleading verbage some less-than-honest vendors use in their advertising. If the $500 is indeed comprised of a...

RE: Is this a scam?

Tim C -

My wife was burned by the "small shipping and handling charge" last Christmas. She ordered a digi-draw toy for our youngest daughter because the on-line ad said the cost was only 9.99...

RE: Is this a scam?

Guys;

Thanks for the replies. I'd like to re-state that I am not in any way calling the IMAA a bunch of crooks. But there is just no way that any business will ever send you $500 worth of...

Is this a scam?

Today I received a generic mailing from the IMAA. The envelope stated in bold red letters "WE WANT YOU BACK". The letter inside described a deal that sounds too good to be true. If I send the IMAA...

RE: TWIN D/F F-117???

Nighthawk - About ten years ago (or so) I went into Bob Fiorenze's hobby shop in Florida and he had a Y/A F-117A prototype on Display. Can't remember if it was a single or double though. You might...

RE: IMAA to petition AMA re: big bird events

Jim B - I was one of the 12,000 (back then), but I'm not one of the 8,000 (now). I was in for exactly one season before the infighting and general hostile environment convinced me that I could spend...

RE: <span class=

Can you share with us what mods were made to make it a 100 mph flyer? I would like to soup mine up a bit, if it can be done with minimal expense.

RE: DF Glow plug life

Just wanted to put in another vote for McCoy #9 plugs. They have been ultra reliable for me. I change them out about every ten flights or so. Usually by flight #10 on a plug, the engine isn't...

K&B 7.5 help

It sounds like you could be feeling the interference fit that an abc engine has when the piston is at tdc. If so, that's perfectly normal. You wouldn't want it any looser, because as the...

Jet World Masters just over 2 weeks time !

Looks like we're being given the "silent treatment" again guys. Maybe WE should go to the wjm on behalf of the good ol' US of A. I've got a Byron powered Regal Eagle with a saggy monocote job that...

Jet World Masters just over 2 weeks time !

Davie - You are correct that the USA did indeed send a full team to the first two WJM's. But, if memory serves me correctly, only a single US participant went to the third. That seemed strange,...
