DA120 seems to be a popular choice from what I can see. Expect to put alot more nose weight, as even with the Moki, the airplane needs 3-4 lbs of ballast.

Battery

Seperate battery for all Moki engines is the way I have always set mine up.
Typically, all Moki powered birds are heavy metal, so to speak, and the weight of an extra A123 is not gonna make much...

Fuse cradle

I also have mine covered in spiral wrap, but I do not have them attached to the intake tubes. Two airplanes like this, and so far so good.

There are plenty of them flying without open cowl flaps successfully-The most important thing is that the Moki is baffled properly.
Opening them up does drop the cylinder temps by a little bit...
