Try downloading the instructions and reprogram the ESC for 3S cutoff. Sounds like yours are in the 74% mode.

As for the scale outline, it is around 80% acurate. It was noty intended to be truly scale in the outline, mods were made tyo make it fly the way it does...EXCELLENT!
