That is a standard item on most helis, a remote glow adapter. You can easily make one with an old glow plug a finishing nail and some 5 minute epoxy.

The purpose of the post is simple,many people don't assume toys are harmless. It is misleading to state "these models are not toys" versus "these models are dangerous".
