We've always kept our gear glued up inside the planes... but some have used magnets to create a battery hatch. When doing these I suppose it's possible to remove some of the gear such as the battery.

Low weight is always better. However I've had a p-47 up to 6 ounces and it still flew fine. Dives were out of this world and it still climbed easily under full throttle. Since then I've gone with the...

My brother has got the p-51... I'd have to double check to make sure how he did it but i'm pretty sure it's sitting directly below the motor. There isn't much room in that fuse at all so some carving...

2 cell 800 mah is what i've got in mine... from eflight... just make sure it's the long skinny cells and not the squarish cells that great planes uses... they simply won't fit unless you have a p47...

Even though these little planes are so small it still takes my p47 quite a push to get it aloft. I throw it pretty much the same way I had thrown my parkzone firebird freedom... which needless to say...
