RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

I have had mine for almost 2 years and still fly it every week or 2. I really enjoy it and was disappointed to see it discontinued. I can not believe mine is still in one piece since most of its...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

OK2FLY,
It looks great! I almost had the opportunity to rebuild mine last week. I was hovering low and it fell out. I rolled it twice trying to save it and the wings were only inches from the...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

I'm with Barry. Be very careful about flying the Harrier fast. It will not take it. I fly mine with a 17x4W on a 120 AX. Your 150 will do good with a 17x4W also and have a ton of thrust.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Cool! It really doesn't look to bad. I look forward to seeing it revived. Good luck.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

I use mostly epoxy when repairing a problem like yours although you could piece your fuse back with CA and then CA some balsa strips across the breaks. Looks like you will have the perfect weekend...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

My experience with Saitos is limited but I did not need a pump. They are pretty good about not having fuel draw problems. You would plumb it like you do on 2 strokes, from the clunk to the remote...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

You may have done this but I moved my battery to the tail to eliminate the need for adding weight. I cut in an access and covered a piece of balsa to screw over it. I also had to solder extension...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Something else that may of interest to you is that I moved my fuel tank back to the CG. It was a really good improvement in 3D (if only I could master those 3d moves) maneuvers. The 120 ax has no...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

I got the cowl out of the way and it looks like I did not move the blind nuts. I did slot the holes in the mount.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

It has been a year but I think I had to relocate the blind nuts. I tried to look at mine with the cowl on but it is hard to see.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Clock,

That makes me want to recover mine! Not really sure how it would look in orange and white. Your colors look great on the Harrier and it really does make it look like a different plane. ...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Thanks. He seems to enjoy the ride. I have never had an issue with the landing gear but I did do some minor mods from the inside such as tri stock and epoxy.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Here are the pictures you PM'ed me about. As I said I had to really butcher the cowling plus it has a few extra cuts/hole from the other engines that I had tried. You asked about the stock muffler....

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

I fly mine with a 120 AX. It is perfect. It will hover at less than 1/2 throttle and pull out straight up and out of site. I run a 17x6 at 9300 RPM's. I started with a 91 2 stroke and was very...
