RE: KMP F8-F Bearcat

Hi, I had the MVVS/Evolution 26cc in my Bearcat, and while it was no pylon racer, it had more than adequate power for this plane. If I were to build another and I had a spare MVVS/Evolution 40cc I...

RE: KMP F8-F Bearcat

Hi Bhumpe, I guess I would have had about 75-85% flap for landing as I like to come in on a fairly steep decent which is possible with this amount of flap, without building up too much speed. But you...

RE: KMP F8-F Bearcat

Flap hinges drilled out and replaced, I now have all the flap movement I need on this plane. AUW with my MVVS26 up front is 17.lbs 14oz, 17oz of this is lead in the nose. My YT/KMP P47 with the...

RE: KMP F8-F Bearcat

Thanks Kinverflyer, looks like I'll have to split the hinges and drill them out, as I only have about 30-35 degrees at most. Apart from that it's looking good.

Simon.

RE: KMP F8-F Bearcat

Hi folks, just aquired one of these so I will probably be throwing a few questions to you guys over the next week or two. Just going thru the manual I notice the throws for the flap are 30mm, this...
