Yeah a basic brushless setup can take most 5th scales. I know with my eRevo and mamba monster/2200 setup I was able to take a 5T with a 29cc motor.

Just wanted to know if you could push 55mph with two 7.4v lipos using 24/54 ratio? Also is it the current that makes your car much faster or the voltage that makes it much faster with lipos?

I would recommend Mamba Monster 2200 all the way for several reasons. For starters you can toss more lipos on (1) ESC . Second for me its much less headache. With the dual VXL's your truck will be...

Any of you guys running the Mamba Monster kit with the 2650 motor? I wish I did a little research before I ordered mine from the hobby shop. All I have are 11.1v lipos. Most are 4000mah 15-20C 11.1v....
