If you're serious about scale fidelity, there are good drawings in books and on the 'net you can find. And it would be easy to measure from archival photos (and see the correct shape), also easily...

The instructions:

show 90 mm, or about 3-1/2". Don't know if this is true to scale or not[:o]

Fine sand to remove the glossy finish. Solvent-wipe or tack cloth to remove dust. Priming recommended ASAP after cleaning.

Ok! Per the plans, CG is 5-3/4" from the LE. cheers.


Added: On the plans, the TE is actually tapered forward 1/4".
