I thought that a bigger spur makes for less top end, so 14/90 is less top end/more accel making it easier for the motor and 14/86 is more top end/ less accel.

Thats what i was thinking, because i more recently got the temp gauge and i used to run 18/86. When i first got the temperature gauge i started running 14/90 and right away it hit like 225.

Is 115 hot for an ESC because i hear if the motor is getting really hot and the ESC is cool your undergeared. I don't know what a comfortable temp is for an ESC just the Motor (160-170)
