You'd have to try fitting the EZ start system to see if it fits. It may or may not. As for the pullstart; just fix it. Get some good quality nylon kite strong - not the cotton stuff.

Loosen the engine up by putting some acetone or glow fuel through the glow plug hole and turn over repeatedly. It'll take a dozen drops of fuel or the like to get everything loosened up well enough...
