It helps drop the temps 10-30 degrees, the aluminum FLM trany will also...

RE: e-maxx upgrade

IB4200 7c packs are a great addition for speed and power. But you will be lucky if they last you long, their cells tend to go bad quick.($109 at www.boomboombatteries.com)

I tried the S600...

RE: 2.2 - 2.8 rims and tires

I highly do NOT recommend IMEX 2.2 wheels, they are pretty, but that the only thing they have going for them. I broke 3 rims on the 1st run after getting them setup. I would go with RPM rims if you...

RE: wheels wobble

Yes the stock bushing go out quickly, and RPM is a better coice with 5x11 bearings. But your stub axles can also cause this with the RPM carriers, the metal shafts will eventually snap out of the...

RE: RUSTLER or STAMPEDE?

I personally like the Rustler better, but I use Pede tires on it.

They are pretty much the same, just the Pede has a little more ground clearance. The only big difference is the chassis. But my...

RE: Official Mamba Max Thread!!!!!!

Setting your timing to the lowest will have the biggest effect on lower motor temps. Also disabling your drag brake will help with heat. I would leave the Punch control at 100% to help with your...

RE: Official Mamba Max Thread!!!!!!

I need to find some new batteries to go with, my Mamba is smoking my IB4200 7c packs. Getting so hot it melts the shrink wrap off the cells. And it always seems to be the cells towards the center of...

RE: want to upgrade rustler

Or you could always go brushless!!!

RPM carriers with the larger bearing will help you alot, the faster you go the faster it will wear out the stock bushings. And will need a aluminum ilder gear...

RE: E maxx

CVDs are a pain because they tend to loose pins, and they have more going on than dogbones do. The pins fall out, then you have to find a pin to replace it, some CVDs need modifactions to work...

RE: E maxx

For the batteries, I would go with www.boomboombatteries.com for 2 7 cell IB4200s its only $110, and they come with Gorillamaxx straps.

As for the driveline, I would go with dogbones from...

RE: Your Stampede castor block/bearing carrier/kingpin set up

I have never had to bore the holes out for pins on the carriers, they have been tight but they worked fine.

And the aluminum FLM arms are great! The only thing that annoys me is loosing e-clips...

RE: What would be.............

If you order in the next 45 minutes this will be the best deal! I would go with either the 4600 or 5700 setup. Sale ends 6/13/07
