Landing appeared to be silky smooth to me. The wings flexed because they are apparently made of carbon fiber which flexes.

Man the wings looked really odd to me. Reminded me of some Burt Rutan design. Carbon fiber wings I guess. I wonder how well those will hold up to 40-50 years of service?
