RE: outrunner prop ? what do i need?

That prop adapter and prop will work but not with that motor. Its kv rating is to high. Its for a ducted fan jet. Here's a good motor/esc combo and its cheap. It uses a 6x4 prop but the motor is a...

RE: outrunner prop ? what do i need?

Dont use anything larger then a 7" prop because the larger it is, the higher your motor will need to be mounted. The higher the motor is mounted, the easier it is for your boat to tip over on a fast...

RE: fast lil swamp buggy

Hey Matts. Whatever way the motor is mounted wont make a difference. I tried it in pusher and puller and its all the same power wise. The motor will have better cooling in puller configuration...

RE: Building the Miss Take to be EP

RE: Building the Miss Take to be EP

Thanks for the comment. I took her out today and I had alot of trouble steering so might have to enlarge the rudder. The boat kept going to the right which I think is because of the torque caused by...

RE: finally building my boat

Im looking at it this way. That system requires a large prop, probably no less then 10 to 11" to produce that amount of thrust. He's going to have to place his motor high which will affect his...

RE: Dumas Windy Airboat - Electric Conversion?

The Atlas 2909/20 brushless motor from hobby-lobby might work. You can get it as a combo with the atlas 20 amp esc for $89. The only problem might be the prop size as it requires a 9" prop. It wont...
