im using a 65 tooth spur gear with a 20 tooth cb...is that ok lol? the spur gear was on the truck when i got it and when i was lookin for a cb to fit the mesh i found a 20 tooth t-maxx cb

HPI and Associated are good brands of cars to start out with. Don't go near traxxas just yet...the 4-tec is very fast.

I would say go with HPI

you can only use .12 engines in races. A .15 is NOT always faster then a .12. The OS. Speed .12 TZP-T3 is a crazy fast .12 engine...but then again it is around $299.99

i heard that 2.2 wheels can actualy be a good move. get the road rage tires for those wheels. You cant buy JUST the foam tires....they only come mounted.

Just buy any set of foamies. It is very rae for the tires to come off with these wheels .
