RE: Top Flite's Giant Scale P-40 Warhawk ARF

It's a bit of a handful to land but looks great in the air.

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

The adjustment is at your radio. RU flying JR/Spektrum? If so, go to menu and travel adjustment. Make sure travel is set to maximum (150).

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

I have a set of Lado retracts and had to play with the travel adjustment to get them to work right. They've been flawless.

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

I generally put a rubber edge around the wing exit for wiring and air lines as well as flap and aileron servo arm exits. Gives the model a nice finished look.

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

Finished installing the Sierra retracts today. If you're planning to replace the stock retracts, measure each side carefully - the rib spacing in one of my wing panels was slight larger than the...

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

Replacing the stock gear with Sierra's requires some modification of the mounting rails. The stock gear mounting plate is at the bottom of the unit whereas the Sierra's mounting plate is at the top....

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

Maxam - a friend of mine built one and tried the stock retracts for sometime. He modified them but over a short time they started to fail. He installed Sierra's and hasn't had a problem since....

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

Thanks - is the wheel well large enough to hold a 4 1/2" wheel without modification? I'm asking because I have a set of nice aluminum wheel from Aeroworks. Tks again

RE: has anyone flown the new 50cc size black horse corsair

So I decided to ask Santa for a BH Corsair this year with all the trimmings. So I made my list and checked it twice - G62, J-tec wrap-a-round, HS5645s, JR921, Sierras, Tru-Turn hub and a few other...

RE: Aero Works P-51?

I agree with Zeeb, dmfla - you won't find a better looking plane or a better value. Yes, I'd want AW to offer the plane without the retracts. The stock set is worthless and do not do the plane...

RE: Aero Works P-51?

The rain, although much needed, finally stopped in south florida long enough for a couple of P-51 missions. Not the cleanest take off in the first or the best landing in the second video but I'll...

RE: TBM 93

According to the manual

"the CG is 4.5" back from the leading edge at the wingtip. This is slightly aft of the wing spar. Start with the CG on the wing spar and then move it to your liking."
