I tried actually separating the top and bottom. No workie, tried with acetone etc, cracked bottom hull a bit. Cutting hatch is so far the only way that keeps the strength of the boat together and...

The only boats I had seen with larger or oversize was... mini-v with... 28 or 29mm drive, thing apparently sunk due to over weight and no foam. Ahhh... there was another, someone stuck in a 33mm...

sundogz don;t forget to reglue the exhuast pipes on the top, mine leaked, did em up with shoe goo, was never an issue. Also a bead around the neck joint is good too.

dude buy the ebay ndq fake jet sprint, it is literly the cheapest best way to jet boat, just swap motor n servo n batt with something from 2000's!;) Any other hulls are completely hit or miss. ...

I think the props are same size(graupner mini jet vs knock off), shaft size for knock off is smaller though for sure.

You can use any servo you want, my buddy swears by the big heavy servo, me I go with a small light 5gram servo. For mount, just get a small piece of aluminum angle, notch out where servo sits.

hope it's the geko... too much weight with real gps, I had run a boat beside knock off, approximately 20-25kph, more speed available without grate.
