Dehaviland Beaver RTF or ARF

The only one that I know of is the Vmar, and I haven't heard anything good about it. I wish someone else would offer one.

Hanger9 Cap 232 40

This is a very good ARF. It builds easy, is light, and flies extremely well. I put a Magnum .80 four stroke on it and that balanced it out well. You can't beat the price either. I've seen them for...

I almost got the H9 P-51 150 size for $349 from LHS

I haven't seen the P-51 for any less or any more than $499. There must be a contracted advertised price. You won't see that plane for less for at least a year, when the market saturates. Right now...

The Cap is Down

Sorry to hear about your Cap. I had a similar experience when I couldn't get my new Magnum 80FS to throttle down in flight. I had to dead stick it in, and didn't make the runway. It ripped the gear...

Warning about H9 .40 Cap

I noticed a crack in the fuselage above the horizontal stabilizer in mine yesterday. Since the covering was intact, I only noticed it when I flexed the stabilizer. This part of the fuse is very thin,...

Acrobatic electric

What is a good electic acrobatic plane? I'm looking at the Watt-age Cap 232, but I'd like to know about some other options.

Model Tech P-47 Razor

Incidentally, I'm putting a heavy weight spinner on mine. The spinner that I'm using coincidentally looks a lot like a scale P-47 spinner.

Cap 232

I disagree, I think the Cap is among the most forgiving planes with true aerobatic performance. It lands slow and, with modest control throws, is very stable. My first low wing was a Hanger 9 Cap,...

Model Tech P-47 Razor

I haven't flown mine yet, but I can give you some hints on the building of it. Do whatever you can to keep the tail light, as you are going to have to add significant weight to the nose to get the CG...

War movie Boo Boo's

You'll notice that most of the German and Japanese planes in movies are really American aircraft. By the end of the war, there were very few planes left, and most of those were not servicable. Those...

H9 Cap 232 from 46 to Saito 100...

I have the H9 Cap with an .80 Magnum four stroke, and it won't quite hover. It climbs with authority and does every other maneuver. That Saito 1.00 ought to really pull that plane. Incidentally, I...

Pictures of my Modeltech p-47

I just built one and I originally had a Saito 80 on it, but it's so tail heavy that I'm putting a Saito 100 on it. I'm going to use the two blade prop to start out, and I might go to a four blade if...

Scale prop

The scale prop for a p-47 would be a four blade, not three.

Similar to flarecraft

It is very similar to the flarecraft, but with a longer fuselage.

It's Wigs you want?

:) I am about to finish a WIG of my own design. It's nothing like the Caspian Seamonster though. There is a great WIG site, just type "Ground Effect" and run a search. I'll post a picture of mine...

What is the best ARF .40 P-51?

I'm in the market for a P-51 with retracts, I don't have a lot of time to build it, and I want one that goes together easy, has a good covering, and flies good. Too much to ask?
