RE: RC4WD 1/5 scale "Killer Krawler"

I don't know about that thing, at a glance it looks pretty cool, but the axles look like 1/10 axles with just larger output hubs at the end of the tubes, its using standard 540 size motors to turn...

RE: Smartech Titan at Milestone Raceway Video

That thing really needs some suspension set up for track use. But as long as you had fun, that's whats important.

RE: Belt Driven 4WD FG's

I don't think there is much of a point, you would have to change so much, you might be maybe a few hundred bucks of buying a whole complete kit.

RE: HPI BAJA 5T

I believe the fronts are the same (haven't done a close comparison), but the rears are beefed up a fair amount, mainly around the shock mounting area. I have been running them very hard, with lots of...

RE: HPI BAJA 5T

For a pipe, it really depends on what you are all about. Racing, either the can that came on the truck, or an SS pipe. You need a mellow hitting pipe, too much punch and you will just spin out in the...

RE: HPI BAJA 5T

I have a 5T (which I did the review on), and 3 "B"s. The extenders are to increase track width, and therefore stability. They worked pretty well on the truck, and IMO are a must have on the buggies....

RE: HPI BAJA 5T

Here is the review I did on the truck a few weeks ago-

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8094421/tm.htm

I also raced at the 1st HPI Baja Nationals with it in the Truck Exhibition race and I...

RE: Baja 5T review

They do fit right on, but I actually think they look a little goofy on the Baja, but maybe thats because I am so used to the way it looks now.

RE: Baja 5T review

Well I did install some upgraded caster wheels on it, I know it is no longer "stock", but it just sits there really, I only move it a couple inches from time to time, I suppose I could find the stock...

RE: Baja 5T review

I'm working on it, but this sort of thing is very technical, and I would be doing my high performance shelf system an injustice by not covering all aspects of it.

RE: Baja 5T review

One thing that I must state is that I was running in the sand, so comparatively, the sand is a lot more forgiving then say a grassy area with a ton of traction. In the sand, you are basically in a...

RE: Baja 5T review

I ran the truck the large majority of the time basically stock. With the only mods being wheel nuts and the Modifier cover.

The differences between the wheel nuts, uhhh, color, and the blue ones...

RE: Darksoul engine

Currently you would just need to buy the case, shell and all the rest of the parts to do it yourself. We are working on sorting out some issue that have come up with the mass production of the...

RE: Baja 5T review

I don't think the 5T body will actually be $250. Look at what the 5T itself is "suppose" to cost, about $2400, its selling for $1300. The body will probably be under $200. Thats not really that much...

RE: Baja 5T review

I hear ya, I look at the pictures, then go out to the garage and look at it, and the pictures just do not do it justice. I think it looks way better in person.

The proline shell actually seems...

Not ignoring you, just insanely busy, and been gone for Dunetoberfest for almost the last week; your stuff is on the way, and you should see it shortly.

Baja 5T review

I was fortunate enough to get my 5T on time for the trip out to Imperial Dunes for Dunetoberfest, and since I kept having an electrical issue with my Sand Baja (I think it has a bad Rx), I pretty...

RE: DarkSoul's Dunetoberfest Baja Build

Its a prototype suspension set that Brice Arnold and I came up with, and have been playing with. So far they have been beaten pretty good, and have held up well. We just have dot decided who is going...

DarkSoul's Dunetoberfest Baja Build

Well, for the most part, the build is all done and ready to go, just have to clean a few air filters and put them on, and do a little break in on the motor. It came out pretty good, I am really happy...

The GoPro camera is pretty cool, has built in vibration dampening, and uses a removable 2GB sd card that will store about 30 min. of video and sound.

RE: I finally bought an FG, let the assembly begin!

Ya, Milestone is what I was referring to. The FG's should do well in the 4wd class.

I am hesitant to really torture the belt drive with a Beast engine, I really don't want to have to tear drive...

Great build there pwaicon, I have 2 of these things on order right now, one for myself and one for my sponsored driver, the intention is to race in the 4wd class next season down in SoCal along with...
