Talked to Central Hobbies and they recognized the problem. Has something to do with the YS soft mount and its requirement for a nose ring. The fix is to replace the rubber gasket with small fuel...

YS 175 CDI Nose Ring

Is the Central Hobbies nose ring for a YS 175CDI supposed to be a snug fit on the engine? The one I just got from Central Hobbies has about a 1/32 inch gap all around the engine.
