So....my Rio 51 flexshaft and inner strut arrived today, but I have no idea how these go together. Is it just brute force for pushing the inner strut over the prop shaft or am I missing a catch /...

Thanks Steve, the parts aren't that expensive. I have the smaller stuff at home, I think the only thing I am going to need to buy for now is the flexshaft and inner strut. About $US35 in total. I...

Thanks Dave,
I can't see thrust bearings on the Rio 51 spare parts list and don't remember seeing them on the boat. Anyone else, any other suggestions?

Through my own stupidity, I did not re-tighten the strut housing when greasing the flex cable and forgot to also place a shaft saver. I have now lost the following:

inner strut,
prop,
