Yeah its a great rig. I changed out the chassis to a blackjack and put new Losi Crawler shocks, Berg wheels and panther tires. I need to add a slipper clutch and a digg to be able to really climb. ...

I bit the bullet and picked up a used ax10 with mamba max speed control, 7turn puller motor, hitec 333 oz servo, spektrum radio, li-po batteries, a lipo charger and ballancer for $450 shipped off of...

Yeah thats my problem. I have a line on a used ax10 that is more than I had intended to spend, but I think is a really good deal if I can come up with the money.

Tools would be no problem. I was a mechanic in a past life and have upwards of $20k worth in the garage. Also working on them would be no problem because of the above. The problem with my friends...

Great info guys, keep it coming. I checked out the losi kit and its in my price range, and from the couple of things I read, it looks to be a kit that would allow me to advance to racing.
