RE: rc foam fighters f-117

Ehhh...all I can say is the recommended motor/esc combo from grayson isn't working for me.

On a 6x5.5 prop the ESC will cut off after about 2 mins of flying...WOT mind you but it's taking that...

RE: rc foam fighters f-117

I found a problem...my charge was cutting off at 800mah.

Now, with a full charge....the plan still barely flies (WOT only), but will stay up for 8-9 minutes like that. My only guess now is it's...

RE: rc foam fighters f-117

Cool. I'll get a 7x4 tomorrow and try it out. I bought the premade white foam board kit from RCfoam fighters, but I've already found the depron and plan on making another nice one after I get this...

RE: rc foam fighters f-117

Finished mine up and tried flying it today. All the LHS had was a APC 6x4 E prop.

Having some electrical/motor problems, not sure where to start. I bought the ESC/motor combo from grayson...

Cheap motor recomendations for DW 55" yak

To me, the fun of a foamy is the economy of it all. I want the big foamy, but don't want to spend $150 on a motor and ESC when I can get cheap ones from HK. Problem is, I'm so new to electrics, I...

RE: rc foam fighters f-117

Looks good! I'm waiting on some deans connectors to finish up the speed-controller. Destructions say to mount that inside the left wing duct, so I'm going to wait to put the top half on until thats...

RE: OS 1.60 help

I'll measure what room I've got, and go from there. Motor is attached to the front end of a showtime 90 :)

Flies really nice on half throttle...need to add weight to the tail so it'll tumble...

RE: OS 1.60 help

Thanks for the help. Got it running quite well yesteday!

Now I need to figure out what prop SHOULD be on this thing, instead of the master airscrew flexible thing that is on it.

Getting ready to go fly again for the first time (in about 10 years).

RE: 6v system, Y together servo's?

Thanks! The more I searched, the more I realized it might really count on some high-dollar large models. In my case, the servos are almost rated double what the plane calls for :D

6v system, Y together servo's?

Getting back into the hobby after a LONG time off.

I'm putting a plane together, and had a question about using a 6v system.

But first.....

Using my old radio (JR X347) I'm curious if...

I'm hoooooked on foam now.

Local club had a fun-build flat foamie delta wing (FBFFDW for short!) this past weekend.....felt like getting back to what RC was about.....FUN and cheap.

Anyway, I go digging around when I...

What to do with Victory C?

I'm getting back into the hobby, but before I left I had a few projects. One of which is a nearly complete Victory C sailplane. Since the local field is within 5 minutes of the house, and seems to...

Next step up...

It's been awhile since I've flown, and I'm looking to get back into the sport. I've got a decent radio, a .91os fx engine, and the required stuff for nitro (most of it).

Looking for a...
