I will use 2 5000mah 5s 25c lipo in series to power the motor. The screws are there temporarly until i found shorter screws. I was not able to wait to see it assembled...:D

The aircraft has been design around popular 50cc engine such as DA50 or DL50. Putting a bigger engine might be possible but it is useless since the plane performances are excelent with these engines....

What we normally suggest is servos torque in the range of 80 to 160 oz/in.
Good example are the Hitec 5625 or 5645 digital servos that are not too expensive and provide very good torque.

I used an SV50 which is similar in size with the DL50. I dont know the difference between the lenght of the provided stand-off. The DA50 is about 1 inche shorter in length than my SV50....
