I don't have my Gas outboard anymore, but I had good results with Servo City 5:1 and programmed 5745mg 1/4 scale servo.
I think I might still have a spare Servo City gearbox setup and...

Two smaller grooves on the turbo head button towards the boost ports.
Aim for .010" - .012" on the squish. You can go tighter but best nit go if it us a Keeley turbo button.

From the zippkits website:

Set the prop shaft angle to 0, and put the centerline 1/4 inch below the sponson bottoms.
This will require cutting the top of the transom for pushrod clearance.

Your right, it is a more expensive setup than the two 805's. But having used twin 805's and this servocity setup, I wouldn't go back for my application.

Hi Dion, the one you have is the next size up, about 5mm wider than the ones I use. I don't believe there is a digital servo that will fit into that gearbox.

I've had good success with the Servo City 5:1 unit for 1/4 scale servos. First thing I did is replace the 755HB servo with a Digital 5745MG. Fits directly...
