I just upgraded the stock motor and esc with a Sapac MB-1 and turnigy 100a esc. My watt meter shows 1700w at about 92a at full throttle. This plane flies now like it should.

I haven't had any problems with the stock servos. One thing you want to do is us a 5s 3000 mah lipo instead of the 4s.

I would go with the dynam meteor at nitroplanes. Its $109 and all you got to add is a lipo and reciever. The nice thing is that you can also fly it stock on 4s or 5s. Actually, I started with 50 mm...

Will that 10x6 prop work good for the GS-40 or is that for the magnum? Should I get a range of prop sizes?.

Thanks for the great info. I went ahead and picked one up from graves rc. It took one day to get here with regular shipping. That was absolutely amazing.
