Trust me if I had cash to spend on a higher end Picco or even an LRP I would plan on that when the 5.9 gives up the ghost, but my current plan is to just get a pinch from Ray A for $20 and...

Um, the XL 5.9 is far from my first nitro.. try Black Tub RC10GT from 15 years ago when they came stock with the O.S. .12 before AE was selling their own branded engines, and that being my first...

My only point in posting that vid is that the RTR 5.9 engine is plenty capable of pushing the XL to about anywhere most people want to go.
