RE: RC10T3 questions

Is it still going to be easy for me to get parts for the truck? I haven't been able to find much at all for the T2 that I have.

RC10T3 questions

I'm picking up one of these rediculously cheap locally. I was going to go for a T4 or an SC10, but for this price I can't pass it up. First off, can I put my 8.4v nimh packs in it, and second, what...

RE: OFFICIAL RC18MT/B/T THREAD

Funny, I actually have 3 9.6v airsoft gun batteries with the same cells that I got with the battery in the 18mt. (which could be my favorite electric car of all time BTW...) I cut two of the cells...

RE: HPI Cup Racer

Have you guys not had ANY problems at all with them? That's crazy. As soon as I get back from the dog walk I have to pull the diff out of my T2 as well. Man this sucks. Both of my electric R/C's down...

HPI Cup Racer

I need some help. My front right wheel's CVD keeps coming out of the diff. I put it back in 3 times and each time I was trying to figure out how the heck it was happening. Finally, I saw that the...

RE: Chime out!!!! What do you have? Kit or RTR?

Half and half. The ones I buy new have been kits, except for a Nitro MT I picked up that was RTR. That was the only RTR I bought new... Some of the other cars, like my RS4 Evo, were RTR cars but I...

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread

2 3600mAh's will last longer than the other 2 choices. Plus, if you fry one, you'll have a spare.

RE: Stadium truck questions

Well, even with the Deans, on an 8.4v pack though, I only got about 5 minutes. I'm going to have to find a way to tighten the slipper clutch. Thing spins everywhere. lol. Motor was 104f, esc 112f,...

RE: Stadium truck questions

Oh, it's melted. This is the 3rd one I've replaced (at min). This time I'm going Deans though, so it should be fine from now on. Back in the day I would have just grabbed another Tamiya. You think...

RE: Stadium truck questions

The motor is wicked old. Probably about 10-12 years. The battery is brand new. The Tamiya connector on it is slightly worn, and I plan on fixing that today.

Stadium truck questions

I grabbed the RC10T2 off the shelf to mess around with it. I normally do Nitro stuff but where I'm at now I can't run them. I've never ran this truck with an 8.4v battery, but I have a bunch of them...

RE: On-road track build questions

With all the money that's in Dubai, I would say go all out. Take a look at some pictures of other tracks and mimic it. There is a lot of cash in that area and whoever fronts the money will have no...

RE: need help for building a better rc

You should start with why you want to convert a shaft drive car to belt drive. Let's go with that first, and then we can all guide you in the right direction.

RE: New M-Chassis from HPI !

Masking tape is awesome, but you have to use the good stuff or it will let paint bleed through. I tape it the best I can, overlap everything, and then cut out the areas with the xacto. Another trick...

RE: New M-Chassis from HPI !

I hope these aren't too big. They are 1024x683 scaled down so it wasn't so big here. The body is an old HPIMini Miata body. I think it looks great. I didn't have the window masking so I did the best...

RE: bringing rs4 2 back to life

You can still get RS4 2 parts easily. You can get the manual from HPI's site, then find out the part numbers you need. A lot of their parts are mixed in with other kits, so they are still available....

RE: A couple of Electric questions...

The batteries have been sitting for at least 2 years. I mean, I only used them 3 times a piece, (probably less) but now that they have been sitting for this amount of time is it even possible I can...
