switching to lipos???

ok so im running an evader st with a castle 5700kv and im ditching the nimh"s and going lipo. but really need to know what charger and batteries i can run at a reasonable price. not really sure what...

that could be true if you use an excessive amount, i use a very small amount..i haven't had a problem yet i would say wd-40 would work to because of no friction though

i use a little black grease and seems to work fine, loosen that slipper and u should be good to go

could be ur idler gear stripped, mine had that same sound due to an over tightened slipper

i will check into that thanks, the other question is what a good peak charger that only takes 30 minutes to fully charge instead of this onyx 100 garbage thats taking 2 hours to charge a single...

yup, lipos is the next step. but for now the 7 cells are just going to have to work..haha ... whats a good gear set up i should run? im currently running 18/88

thanks guys, so i just might go with the 4600kv to give it a shot and i have plenty of pinions lol ..i did see the ezrun brushless setup and it looks a little sketchy but the price is cheaper..

whats up guys, its time for me to go brushless and am wondering is this a good set up...it going in an evader ext.. btw whats the difference between the 4900kv and the 5700kv thanks guys, fairly new...
