Just pick up a G-44 @ L.H.S and was wondering what prop brand everyone like? Should I go with the Great Planes slow flyer prop or can I go with the common APC 8X6E prop? What is slow flyer anyways?...

Man I hope m skill level will be that good someday. How fast do you think that plane needs to fly to stay airborn and takeoff? I would say my P.Z T-28 goes abot 20-25mph @ max.

Tail heavy. Just finished balancing it again and man did the tail drop. Where should I add weights? Don't want to but can't really move the battery and other electronics around that much.

Thanks all, I think I'll fly the T-28 until June then make sure everything is ok on the Escapade and try again in July.

Well I'll be flying electric for now and I would assume the same laws will apply to me also. Once i establish a safe stall speed like all the above have noted, my flying skills should improve.

Electric or glow? Im doing the electric build. I'v just be reading some old threads on the Escapade and most said it does not glide very well and come in very fast. Right now I just fly a P.Z T-28...
