Maybe that sounds crazy to you, but do you think that installing an OS .75 AX could be doable ? Did you have any cg issue with the 61 SF up front ? I know the 61SF weighs the same as the 91 FX so...

Incredibly enough this builder's kit still sells, and it's not actually cheap. There must be a good reason !! [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

mleatbomber, your pictures are REALLY nice, if not the NICEST float plane pictures on RCU. Can I have higher resolution to set a new background on my PC ?

Laddie,
You' re quite right about electrics. There still remains a problem with them though : charge duration... It takes more than one hour to recharge these LiPO packs, and they're sometimes not...

Laddie,

Indeed I had not thought about the prop. Maybe there is some room for building a higher pylon [:-]... Regarding the engine, today's .90 sized engines are roughly the same weight as .60...

Yeah you're right, this aircraft is a big model, it should handle additional weight better than the Northstar where I think this was more crititcal... I still think your Axi is lighter than say a .90...

Wow very nicely done. Too bad you haven't started a build thread :( The forward part of the fuse looks like it's molded.
What about the batteries and esc ? Just to have an idea of the price tag......
