RE: **Official Yokomo Touring Car Thread**

That's awesome that these little cars can still hold their own after all these years! Even if you're a Hot Shoe driver, it says a lot that they cans still keep up. What running gear do you have in...

RE: 4x4 chassis slash

Fastlane Machines had one at RCExpo. At the time it was a prototype, but they may be available by now. I'd give them a call and find out.

RE: Caster Racing ???????

Caster is known for very high quality cars. Very respected amongst racers and extremely competitive. They are a small company with a very small portion of the market, but they're thought very well...

RE: inverted shocks?

I think you bring up a good point. For Rock Crawlers, they do make sense in lowering the center of gravity. Also, un-sprung weight doesn't really matter, infact it may help in crawling applications...

RE: Losi 4WD SCT

well this weekend I was talking to someone who really is "in the know" and it is based off of the 10T with a lengthened chassis. Should be a very well built truck which will hopefully erase all the...

RE: Losi 4WD SCT

Where'd you read this and what rules did it not adhere to?I'm not saying this is a lie, but I'd love to see some proof to substantiate that. I believe it ran the Hot Rod Shootout and won, Icould be...

RE: what is a good all around charger???

This is the one I'm about to get, not cheap, but it's got 2 charging and balancing ports so you can charge up to two 6s batteries at once and it's got really hight charge rates, so as battery...

RE: recovery of a lipo

I've done this several times. I charge at .1 on nimh setting for about 3 minutes, then switch over to Lipo balance mode. Has worked every time so far and never burned down my house yet (knocks on...

RE: Mamba Moster vs. Tekin rx8

You're absolutely right about the sliders, ironically, I haven't broken/bent them, which is funny because it's just about the only part that Ihaven't bent or broken(knock on wood) that is caused by...

RE: Mamba Moster vs. Tekin rx8

I love my MMM2650 combo in my Slash 4x4 PE. Breaking axles has nothing to do with the motor, axles are just the weak point of our trucks. TeknoRC so far is the only one who's gone to using 6mm axles...

RE: Zip Zap Micro RC Cars

HOLY MOLY, way to resurrect an old thread. This thread's so old, I thought you'd need an old IBM PS2 computer and Prodigy to see it. I want a Kyosho Dnano, super expensive for how small they are, but...

RE: motor for buggy

Get a MMM 2650 from Tower with the $60 savings, you'll get it for basically $200, do that and call it a day. I've been super happy with my MMM 2650 in my Slash 4x4!

RE: need help on custom body

Order her a 1950's Mercury body, I believe HPI or Parma make one. Then mask it off and use Pactra, Tamiya or Spazstix paint meant for Lexan/polycarbonate bodies. As mentioned, use Felt for the ears...

RE: what happened to paintable rims?

that is such a cool idea! I wanted something different, so I got white rims and dyed them blue, but this would be awesome and allow for some really trick custom jobs.

RE: Anyone see an R/C older than this one? late 60's early 70's Dynamic Models

Great ending to this. That was really nice what you did for your friend. I'm really glad that the car's going to a collector who will really appreciate it. Sounds like you also really made great use...

RE: Suggestions...

Yeah I've got the Slash 4x4 Platinum, so it's got the center diff. It's pretty dialed, I've done all kinds of things to it and it is basically a 1/8th scale buggy disguised as an sc truck by now lol...

RE: Suggestions...

Foamy, a few questions, how much faster is the Truggy vs. your Buggy? Do you have lap time comparisons? Also, will Truggy wheels/tires fit on the Buggy with or without mods? I'm so excited about...

RE: Great Race vids!

I love watching your vids. You're seriously a very very good racer, obviously you know that since you're usually either TQ or near it. Which is exactly why I'm gonna ask you some questions. I figure,...
