yeah none too sure about the tapped block either, but the way i figger it, i have plenty of time to retrofit something in there to make me happy :)

your strut mounts are about what i was aiming...

coupla good ideas there eric!! i like the dorsal fin box and the ply at the wing. the bridge is good too. but i see you forgot the lg plate on the inside before drilling the holes for the lg. lookin...

hey thanks all for the comments. not bad for a first project i guess. lil bit heavy on the glues that is definate.
a few spots not as square as i thought when laying it up. an all together not bad...

well this is my first kit that im building. i deemed today as "sanding catchup" day, lol. before it gets too far and all the sanding becomes a real job.
