RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

I give all my conventional ring 2 stroke motors a very healthy rich break in. (This included a ST2300) I don't let them lean out in the air until I have a couple of gallons thru them. I have had...

The 625's are good with full 3d Travels on elevator and ailerons 45°+

The 635HBs are good on the the elevators 40° max(2 servos) if using 1 pull pull...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

I have the Perry VP30 and it works very well. I have herd that the Cline or iron bay works even better. Many run the 1.6 without a pump.

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

The 1.6FX is still perfect. I would under prop it when on the F90 though. 17 x 6 max and just let it over rev. I am sure you will not be at full throttle for very long. :D

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

My guess is that the 110 will be a little weak on this size plane for all out flying. If you want to stay with the YS go to the 1.4FZ. The YS will cost a lot more in fuel to run though. Best long...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

The Super tiger will win that battle. It has a displacement advantage(1.4 vs 1.2 ) & is about 6oz heavier.

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

Ok, that would put it in the neighborhood of 1230!!!!! Oh my, and 11 pounds...sounds like a dream for my 160FX. Do you have any of these without the "upgrades" available still?

This plane...

RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

The 1.6FX with Cline would be killer on this plane! & The mileage I get with mine is incredible. It pulls around a 12.8pound edge that is about this same size & I can see being able to come in 2...
