Ya, your right of course. The biggest thing I have balanced have been RC 4x4 truck tires (T-Maxx) & 12x props.

If you could get a mag big enough to hold the big props and the flywheels you guys...

I use this for a balancer. It works for RC trucks and car wheels and props. I love it.
It might not hold the weight of your flywheels but its in line with your thoughts. lol
