putting diffrernt connectors on it doesnt void the warrenty. They just charge a rewiring fee. Just buy some new tamiya plugs and install those, and you're all set.

If you want to kill your motor at a premature age, thats the way to do it. If you are going to run just one motor, gear it down, maybe 15-16/66. And watch the temps.

contrary to what people here are saying... stay far away from cheap batteries. they cost you more money in the long run. You want good GP 3300's or 3700's, or Sanyo cells. They dont cost that much......

those $400+ brushless systems arent all their cracked up to be. they are just a tiny bit better then the ones being suggested. Just a little bit lighter, and jsut a little bit more efficient.

brushless is very quiet, very powerful, and very fast. On my emaxx, my 9918 +9l brushless system, will make my emaxx do just about a 360 flip if I tap the throttle a little to hard. when topped out...

Make sure you Reciever antenna hasnt been damaged (has to be correct lenght... think 24 inches or something like that), make sure the batteries in your Remote are fully charged. Reprogram your EVX...
