Turn one out of blue or pink foam on a drill press and glass it. Make a high grad ply 1/4" back plate for it to screw into.

Aluminum is the way to go though. I would splurg and get True turn...

I have thought about breaking into this plane to. The cowl seems off to me though (length and size of lower bulges) and it definitely needs a new canopy without the sharp angle in the middle.
