I would say yes, it does have more torque, The 1520 is slightly longer by 4mm, not much and they are almost the same KV 1580 vs 1600 for the 1520.

If you have the space I'd go for the 1717,...

1520's will also do for you, $65 each!

You could drop in a pair of Castle Neu motors, 1717's for $70 each they are a steal!!! 1580KV

If they are still in stock, won't last long... ...
