Helping a friend with his lightening and just wondering if you guys are having to add any nose weight to balance for proper cg?

Just not sure what size or what specs to look for. Never had an electric over 4lbs before. Any suggestions on brand and models would be helpful!

Will be purchasing the kit this week from Eureka Aircraft. Not sure if I am going with the foam core or balsa build up wings. Always had balsa ribbed kits but the foam wings doesn't look to hard to...

Anybody know what the all up weight is? Also, new to F3a so any help on electric motors for this plane would be appreciated.

Sorry if I am not understanding you correctly but, when you say mini-lightning do you mean you shrunk the plans/plane down from the original?

Wondering if you have a flight report with the DLE20 engine. I have one that's looking for a new airframe. Waiting to here if this engine has enough thrust to carry the lightning...
