One major problem of Micro-Heli or any non-direct shaft/belt driven heli is that its tail motor is the first one to go. Due to the size of the heli, designer/engineer have no choice...

That motor is actually one of the variance of Tamiya Mini 4WD motor. I use those kind of motor before for tail. It is heavier than CN12-RXC but it do pack a lot of RPM!!!...

The brushless tail motor is from CDROM motor. I rewind it with 10 Turns per pole. I use Castle Creations PHX-10. U can build your own Brushless controller but I would say the task is...

U only have to reverse the position of the motor pointed to, the direction of the propeller and also the motor wire (Either in + to + or + to - or in other words, reverse it)

There are sooooo many ways to improve your tail authority. Stock tail motor is very weak and they are not carbon brush motor. They burn or worn out very easily.

Feel the motor after u spin up a while. I bet it is going to be very hot. If so, u might need a Motor HeatSink for it also.
