I cut about 3/4" off the stacks of mine in order to get the cowl on. It's still tricky to get the cowl on and off.

I bought the CF landing gear, it is a good bit lighter than the stock one.

Check your glue joints. I just completed a 50cc AW Extra and there was an amazing lack of glue.
