RE: CX2 servo linkage

Well I've crashed hard enough to bend the stock rods. But haven't bent the Xtreme set I have now.

As for the clipping, it helps, but doesn't solve the "clack" issue.

RE: CX2 servo linkage

Actually, quite a few people have clip'd the blades.

Personally, I dislike this method. While throttle response become a bit more snappy, you suffer in the lift department. And "all up weight"...

RE: Blade CX-2

 I agree. I don't know what got into him, but last I thought... We all had CX2's for flying in small areas. If I was flying my Pigeon (Trex Clone) in the house, I'd be living outside with the...

RE: Blade CX-2

Personally I like the DN, CSRC and MegaPower ones. They're pretty cheap too, and I don't think your going to need a 850Mah 20C pack for the CX's.

RE: Blade CX-2

That would be pretty normal. They are made to be a more sedate indoor heli.

You could move the controls out a hole (or 3) on the servo horns. :D be prepared for blade strikes at that point.

RE: CX2 owners ever do this for a kick?

I'm not trying to top you, but I think I can wow you... I tried yesterday, from about 50' up, A Death Roll. Apparently a loose flybar will cause this, so I took a link off and said, welp I've got...

RE: Any breakage problems with CX2 CF tail boom?

And the Xtreme one, will throw your CG to the rear a good 3/8". Personally I like mine. But I removed the fake tail rotor, and added a flybar weight to the nose of my heli.

RE: Shaft Replacement CX2 Instructions

If you took 2 screws out of the bottom gear, that would only release the inner shaft. Which you'll need to remove anyways.

The lower blade mount - 4 screws.
The Collar below the swash plate -...

RE: Battery issues w/ 7.4v Li-Po.

You'll spend more money on a charger you really don't need, to rescue a stock battery? Why not just get a new battery. Common Sense, Max Amps to name 2, make great packs for the CX2.

RE: alloy blade grip trouble

Do the blades have markings on them, near the head end of them?

A's go on top, B's on bottom.

IF it's wobbling, you might have a balance or slop @ the grips problem.

I tell them if they can manage to fly on my sim, without crashing.... I will GIVE them a CX2.

So far, I still have my CX2. :D

RE: http://www.rcrivesud.com/ yes or no

Well all, I have good news and bad. My personal opinion is the flybar mount needs some way of being adjustable. It is just too damn fast.

So, in my original genius *(read as Redneck...

RE: DIY sim cable - FMS to CX2

It CAN be done with the USB. I am using it in the Pre Flight software.

I have JR USB cable, and the "adapter" that I made. Works prefectly.

I ordered their whole main shaft assembly. Lower and Upper Blades, and Skids.

Soon as they arrive I will be taking lots of photos, and writing a mini-review of my own.
