Update ... holiday slow down :D but should get back on track now. Just FYI all of the trailing edges are carbon fiber [X(] makes for a nice stiff, but not too stiff wing. Working on LG and thrust...

Finally I have started working on the IL-62. The motors and fans finally came in , I have ordered some parts to make the landing gear and for now I will start to build the cockpit. What I have done...

My 2 cents, with adding the outboard motors you will have to be careful if you have not added strength to the wing as the additional motors will want to twist the wing which will give you wash-in vs...

I am sure you will best of luck to you ... I am stalled a bit so cutting foam while I wait for the motors and fans to come in ...total cost for motors and fans 2k ... next I will order the speed...

I started to cut foam tonight ... lots of foam ...;) Still have not heard anything from the Hawe Retract people, even though I have sent them two e-mails so far.[>:] I will start posting photos...

How much if you don't mind me asking where the retracts ... and how did you contact them to order them? I would like to get a set for my plane as well. And I look forward to seeing your progress...

Yes this is from Norbert, he did a special set of fiberglass parts for me .... making them extra lite for the use for an edf. And you are also correct in that alot of thinking has to be done as how...

While I wait for more parts for my 123% f-14, I am ready to start my new project the Russian IIyshin IL-62 (1/16th scale). I will start to post photos soon on progress, however right now I am trying...
