Default Smart-Fly Power Expander Pro

I have the Power Expander Pro and was wondering if I can hook 2 cell lipo battteries directly to the expander or do I need to run them through a voltage regulator first to get the voltage down to around 6 volts. I am running Hitec 5985's and 5955's as my servos.

Default RE: Smart-Fly Power Expander Pro

Hi,
Yes, unless you are running Hitec 5995 you need to bring the lithium voltage down to 6.5V or less. The Pro does not have regulators for the servos. Let me know if you have any other questions.
