Default 50 inch Apache

Hi, I've been offered an unused 50" Apache hull/deck/cockpit with no hardware at all, and would prefer a FE setup over gas/nitro.
would also prefer a twin setup over single, purely for symmetry on the transom (central rudder between stingers). I dont need blistering speed, anything over 40 is good enough. need advice about what total power to look for (watts), what kv rating to go for to use a 5 or 6 cell setup, and what prop size. since i want counter-rotating props, please also point me to a good supplier for props and shafts. I'm on a budget so probably turnigy stuff. thanks.

i would go for a low kv rating, most likely under 1500kv. by that point you may be able to get an 8s setup with a 200A+ esc.  the power should be above 2500watts.

I've just realised i have a new, unused turnigy t600, 880kv motor which was destined for a ducted fan plane project, but I've now stopped flying. so I'm thinking of ordering a second one for this project. can anyone indicate prop size for a 6 or 8 cell setup?

A friend ran one of my 58 apaches on two of those motors on 6 s using cheap 200 amp hk esc,s he was getting 50 mph with twin props. He has since swapped to twin 910 kv hi model outrunners, similar performance.Only reason he swapped was because his battery came loose on one motor and hit and damaged one.

You def best going with 1/4" flex but stepped down to 3/16" for more prop options,i can find out what size props he used but im thinking they were around 57 mm 2 blade but 3 bladers would work well also.
