Default Micro Scat Cat

Hello All, This is my first F/E. I am big into the gasser's . But pick this up so i thought why not !! LOL It is a BBY carbon fiber micro Scat Cat.This is the first one out of the mold It has a mega 16/7/8 brushless, 30 amp esc, and i shoe horned 2 Venom 1800 Batt's in it . Yes it has 12 cell's . Man this thing Flie's the sound is of that of a pissed off bumble bee on steiriod's. here are some pic's Later Bill V.

this is one of the first boats built out of CF from Randy if i do remember correctly.
you got it off of Lee F rite ?

Nice peice Bill.
Is that the SC21? Or is that a smaller hull. I dont remember seing that one on the site. Do you plan on finishing the hull? Also is the the old school Octura strut and knife blade rudder hardware?

it is a scat cat 26 but a micro version of it.
i cant wait for mine!.
could you post a video of it ? once its done?

yeah , It is a micro scat cat c/f. The length is 16" the beam is 6 1/4 very small but very fast . the extra weight of havin two 6 cell pack's make's it sit real low in the water but The maga motor bring's it on plane like yesterday. i have no vid's as of yet . still toying with it thank's for the interest . i will update as it come's together . you could run lipo or possibly elite 1500 12cell 2/3a. maybe, less weigt at least.

as far as i know this is the only one out there so far . Get ahold of Randy at BBY . i know there not listed on his site. as far as lipo's i think they would be to lite with the heavier batt i seem's to handle pretty good i'm goin to try it with a 8 cell to see how it run's . Later Bill

Here's a pic after Randy joined the hull & deck . Price You will have to get up with Randy on that. I think the abs micro's are goin for $129.w/ hardware (I THINK!) But this one would be a bit more. Later Bill

what size prop are you running? they have 380 size feigao s,l,xl. are these comparable to what yu are running?

the carbon fiber hulls are 89 dollars less hardware. I believe.

allaboutcustom, To tell ya the truth i have no idea what prop is on it. Being a old man the eye's arn't what they used tobe !!! Like i said in the first post i'm big into gas . props are alot eazier to read !! LMAO Maybe taylor can help you with your qwestion about comparing them. Later Bill

X435 or X432. X431 or something. I don't really know for sure
they are the red plastic ones.

i want to see this thing run i wish that they will start making mini outboards like 380 size or somthing like that to make them more scale look now, that would look good on the mini cats and mini deep-vees

I am working on a micro scat cat too but I never knew it came in carbon that is very cool
