Default Lakes near or in London, England

Does anybody run gas boats at lakes in and around London - Have been running my Blackjack 55 at Chatham but have to find a new venue since a couple of locals informed me that the boat was to noisy and they were going to report me.

I am based in the north London area and any venue suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Simon.

I think Elmbridge might be the best you are going to get. I looked through the MPBA handbook, seems closest to you. They run IC and everything else there, boats, planes and cars. It is on the A30, J13 off the M25.

Hope this link works.

thanks for all your suggestions!

Would like to try the Thames but with that current think the Boat might be going backwards and should it decide to die on me then it could become rather interesting.

I have ordered the Silencer from Bonzi - lets see if it keeps the noise to an acceptable level.

Once again, cheers for the suggestions

Simon.

Hello UK mates!

Would any of you happen to know a chap named Joe Read aka TeamPuravida?

He has promised me three boats for a month and a half now.

Is he even the slightest good on his word?

TIA.

Artie.

Mart et all. I could really use your help. I won 3 ebay auctions for boats, paid immediately, and never received anything. I got emails from him stating he sent them to the wrong address and got it back and he was going to resend with delivery confirmation. Now he is ignoring my emails and more than 60 days has passed so I have no recourse with ebay or Paypal.

Any suggestions?

His name is Joe Read and lives in Greater Manchester. What can I do? He is a long way away from me to be able to knock on his door......

Hello all!

Thank you so much for your help! I got an email from Joe this morning to which he stated that they were shipped but he didn't say when nor did I get a delivery confirmation as promised. So I suppose it's a waiting game again.

He said it should be to me in 7 days so I'll post an update next week to see if he comes through or not.

I spoke with quite a few of you from the U.K. who stood up and said I'll ring him or email him to help out. I REALLY apreciate that to no end, and I give a HUGE International THANK YOU for that as well!!!!! Sometimes you just gotta prod the cattle a little bit to get them to move.

It's a small hobby but funny how small of a world it is when we stick together and work in powers of numbers.

I owe you guys!
