Water cooling pocket bike motors???
I was wondering I was making a deal for a blata motor but that fell through. Has anyone converted the regular air cooled 49cc pocket bike motor to water cooled? And if so how hard was it? I have several people that have spare motors lying around that i could pick up for cheap if its not hard to water cool. Thanks

Trying to water cool an air cooled motor is a considerable amount of work - even with the right tools and technique I imagine it is not real easy and no guarantee of results. There are water cooled bike motor options which I would consider before ever tackling an air cooled conversion.

Yes i've done this, it's not too difficult if you have access to a lathe.
I just turned down the top of the cylinder, bought some aluminium tube and JB welded it on.
Short video of it running
