Default WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

WHAT DO YOU THINK ; A 60 to 90 size unlimited sport hydro class no holes barred run what you brung ,any paint job any engine mods any driveline any hull design, truly a unlimited class for the speed freaks. I'm sure I'll step on some toes with this one but all rc hobbies need a shake up once in a while .he he What it will do is get the great modelers into the next step in high speed hydro racing say 70 to 80 mph!

I like it but it will never happen. Between the sanctioning bodies, insurance restrictions and all the beginners that would want to get into the "speed" class, it would be a nightmare just to get started

Yes I know its hard to get the fun stuff going in organizations that have so many people and opinions governing what should run and what should not, the unlimited riggers have a nitch I just was thinking something that looks more like a boat,he he he. In the AMA they have waivers for turbine powered jets that make a fast boat look safe in comparison. For now I guess I'll just have to be a renigade and run something like that on my own time.

NAMBA already has classes for 21, 40, 60, and X (.68-1.8) sport hydros. Have you looked at these yet?

Some of the IMPBA races I attend in D-14 have an Open Hydro class. How much more "Run what ya brung" can you get than that! 70-80 mph in that class wouldn't win on a good day.

Would that be the same as "great taste"/ "less filling" debate?
