ST 2300 fuel delivery problem
Hello,
I have a ST 2300 mounted on it's side with a bisson pitts muffler one pipe plugged. This is mounted on a 1/4 scale cub and the location of the tank is centerline about 1 1/4" below the center of the carb. When trying to prime the engine, fuel will not reach the carb. A few drops will come up the fuel line but, will run back to the tank when taking your finger off of the carb. The tank has been replumbed. Would a fuel regulating system or fuel pump be in order here?
Thanks,
jc

RE: ST 2300 fuel delivery problem
If you can't get your fuel tank higher, so that the centerline of the tank is no more than 3/8" or so lower than the center of the carb, then we would suggest a pump or pressure/regulator system. The fact that the tank's so low is the source of your fuel feed difficulties.
